25 cars fronted for Winter points meeting #2. A nice fine day allowed us to race outside in the sun. The track surface proved to be relatively grippy but lap times were down with most laps being over 6 seconds.
Top points for the day went to Rocky with him cleaning up in the heats & also the A-Main.
Thanks to Alan for doing the lap scoring & gridding up the cars.
Thanks to everyone that got their cars to the track on time.
We are taking a short break for four weeks while a number of championships & events are held out of town.
We have a number of club members representing our club at the Waikato Champs, Auckland Champs and North Island Streetstock Champs on the 27th June .
Good luck to all those attending.
We also have 8 youths attending the Under 16 NZ Stockcar Champs at Hastings on the 4th July.
Good to see so many youths attending. Good luck to all them and I hope they do well.
We also have a number of members attending the NZ Streetstock Grandprix & World
540`s in Taupo 4th-5th July. Good luck to all them too.
Next Meeting is Winter Points meeting # 4 Sunday 19th July.

Due to a number of clashes between our race calendar with major championships at other clubs we have changed a number of race dates so our race dates do not clash.
This will free things up to allow our club members to attend these championships.
